BookEnds is a Los Angeles based non-profit organization working towards literacy and leadership for youth through student led book drives. This year, we plan to facilitate over 50 book drives with each generating between 2,000 and 6,000 books. Over the past ten years, BookEnds has collected and distributed over two million books into the hands of children who otherwise would not have access to quality books!

I'm a kid, how can I help?

We happily work with volunteers in a variety of ways depending on our needs. 

We are always looking for volunteer photographers for our sortings and deliveries.

Grab your friends, co-workers, book club members or family and come help out at a monthly book sorting!  It takes a village to get books into the hands of kids who need them!
